Girl of the moment.... Dree Hemingway

Dree Louise Hemingway Crisman is one of the newest it fashion models to hit the runway and just so happens to be daughter of Mariel Hemingway and Stephen Crisman, and the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway.

Dree's work includes ad campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Valentino and DKNY. She also walked the runway for Givenchy in the Fall/Winter 2009 Ready to Wear Show.

Alexander McQueen R.I.P

In my absence due to a ski holiday i have not been able to comment on the death of one of britans greatest designers (Lee) Alexander McQueen. Fashion week paid tribute to McQueen at the official start.

Harold Tillman - head of the British fashion council spoke of his "extraordinary impact" on the fashion industry.

He then asked those present to hold a minute's silence to remember "this great talent".

Harold Tillman said "I ask you to join me in sharing both respect and reverence for the passing of one of our greatest British designers Lee McQueen.

On a high note McQueen's sales have gone up 1,400%

McQueen was found in his home 11 days ago. He hung himself the day before his mothers funeral.

Obsession du jour - Model Chanel Iman

The name says it all... she was clearly born to be a model. I'm loving her look on and off the runway. Born in Atlanta, Georgia but brought up in Los Angeles, California. Her mother is Korean and African-American, and her father is African-American which adds to her unusual look. She truly is an inspiration to girls especially because of her interest to explore more facets of the fashion industry and discussing the lack of diversity in the field.

She's still got 'it'

Cindy Crawford now in her 40's is showing the young hot models that she's still got it! The photos that were shot in New york for the latest issue of British Harpers Bazaar show of Cindy's body- which has not aged a day might i add! Cindy proves that she is still one of the worlds top models with a quote from Bazaar saying ' You just have to have a glance at some of springs most influencial catwalk trends to know that it is Cindy time again. Gucci, Julien Macdonald and Michael Kors are celebrating the athleticism of the hot 90's body with cheeky flesh - flashing devices.'
