Trend - Pastel Hair

I have been noticing a new hair trend emerging in 2010. Pastel hair! When you were younger did you ever envy your 'my little ponies' for their glossy colourful manes, well now is your chance to obtain this retro hair do. Usually pastel colours work with peroxide blonde hair, because the colour comes out clearer. Due to me just having a fringe cut, i feel like it would be a bit OTT with the pink highlights....however i could take tip from Gaga and go for the not so subtle yellow hair.

Obsession du jour - Model Chanel Iman

The name says it all... she was clearly born to be a model. I'm loving her look on and off the runway. Born in Atlanta, Georgia but brought up in Los Angeles, California. Her mother is Korean and African-American, and her father is African-American which adds to her unusual look. She truly is an inspiration to girls especially because of her interest to explore more facets of the fashion industry and discussing the lack of diversity in the field.

Fashion Inspiration- Kate Moss circa 1990'S

Recently i've been really loving that fashion has been inspired by different era's and trends from these era's. Right now i'm really inspired by the 90's (yes i said it -the 90's). People think of the 90's as one of the worst times for fashion, however there were elements which i love. I'm talking a young kate moss when she had a turbulent romance with Johnny Depp, when she dressed in grunge, and had started a little trend in fashion called 'Heroin Chic'. This became huge in the mid 1990's. Many of my friends are in denial about dressing in 90's fashions. I think people are afraid to admit it, like it's some sort of taboo. Well i am saying dress in 90's fashions. Don't be afraid, Don't hide it anymore!

Obsession du jour

My obsession of the day are Body suits, these sexy little numbers are everywhere! I've noticed these in shops from the classic American apparel right to the luxurious Argent Provocateur. Body suits are supposed to be worn as underwear however I see these appearing on women more and more. These could be worn with high wasted skirts, jeans or with skin tight wet look leggings as Cheryl Cole did in her video 'Fight for this love'. Either way these body suits are here to stay so I suggest you get yours quick!
